English in Toulouse snowshoe hike

Plateau de Beille, February 21 2009

The last official English in Toulouse snowshoe hike for the 2009/10 season was held at our favourite nordic park, Plateau de Beille, on Sunday 21st February.

A great group of 25 people attended this event and, after a rough start with high winds and snow drifts across the road on the way up the mountain, we started the hike just after 11am and were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day for the trek.

Our day finished at the cafe around 3.30pm, where we sat on the terrace sipping beer or hot chocolate in the sun and admiring the view.
