There were just five of us this week and we did an 18km snowshoe hike on the black piste. Chioula's black piste made the one we did at Beille last Saturday feel like a day at Disneyland. I had a few panic attacks and nearly broke my leg!

The weather wasn't with us on this trip, either. Although it started off quite nice in the morning, by 3.30pm it had turned dark and bleak. By 4pm it was too dark to take photos. We crawled back to the station at around 5.30pm, exhausted but happy with our achievment.
