English in Toulouse
Hello! I'm Narelle, welcome to the group!
English in Toulouse is a free conversation club and friendship network. The group is open to anyone in or near Toulouse who can speak English fluently. It has been running since April 2005.
There are around 600 members in the club, from a diverse range of cultures including: Australian, Kiwi, Irish, Scottish, American, Canadian, Indian, Polish, Chinese, Thai, Russian, German, South African — and of course lots of French!
When is the next meeting?
We meet every Friday at a tapas bar for French and English conversation, followed by happy hour drinks and often dinner. We also meet on the second Wednesday of the month at a bar for French and English conversation and on the last Wednesday of the month at a pub for English conversation. Sometimes we have special events such as wine tours, hiking trips and quiz nights, and we have an annual Christmas party dinner and pub crawl.

English in Toulouse turned five years old in April 2010! To celebrate, we have extra special events every month. See below for details:

Join us for a big trip to Andorra including lunch, a swim at the spa and tax-free shopping.

I receive a lot of e-mails every day from people wanting to join the group, move to Toulouse or even just live in France. Before you contact me with a question I've almost certainly answered somewhere already, please remember your netiquette and take a look at our frequently asked questions or do a site search (in the menu at the top of the page).
Still need answers?
If you can't find an answer to your question, post it on the forum. Chances are high that someone else will want answers to the same question as you, and in making your question public you will have helped someone in the process of doing your own research — which is always a good feeling, isn't it? :)
If all else fails...
If you have exhausted every option for finding the answer to your question and are still looking for help (you've read the frequently asked questions, searched the site, searched through the forum and posted a question there, asked Google, checked Wikipedia, and consulted with your cat (cats are very wise) then of course you should feel free to send Narelle an e-mail.
