What's this all about?
Hello!
I'm Narelle, the organiser of English in Toulouse.
English in Toulouse is a conversation club and a friendship network, open to anyone in the Toulouse area who can speak English.
There are over 400 members in the club so far, but they're not all English! There's quite a diverse mix of cultures including Australian, Irish, American, Canadian, South African, Indian, Greek, Polish, Scandinavian, Russian and German — and of course a lot of French members!
We meet twice a month at the pub (Crowne Plaza Night and Last Wednesdays) as well as weekly for French Fridays.
More recently, we started meeting for happy hour drinks on Friday nights, which we call After Bapz.
We also have regular special events such as wine tours, hiking, snowshoe hiking, bowling and dinner nights, quiz nights, Christmas parties etc etc etc.

How do I join?
Register on the forum to become a member. It's free and easy to do.
Members receive invitations to special events, can contact other members and leave messages on the forum — you'll also receive an e-mail to let you know about upcoming meetings, job offers and monthly newsletters.

After Bapz: join us for happy hour on Friday nights.
Often after French Fridays at Bapz those who are still chatting at 7pm-ish go on to a pub or grab a bite to eat.
Where will we go and what will we do this week? Be at Bapz by 7pm on Fridays and find out for yourself.
Last Wednesdays
Join us for drinks at the end of every month at our Last Wednesdays meeting. For more details, see the Last Wednesdays' page.
Crowne Plaza Night: a bilingual event
Join us for a French/English language exchange every month at Crowne Plaza Nights.
From 8.30pm to 10pm the set language is English and from 10pm to 11.30pm, French. After 11.30pm it's anything goes and many people stay on until long after the bar officially closes at midnight.
